What is AGENDA?

AGENDA is a private mobile app for Android and iOS, built with Flutter. It combines task management and personal finances in one place, with all data stored exclusively on your device.

You can create and manage tasks with projects and subtasks, classify priorities with the Eisenhower Matrix, organize your day with the 1-3-5 Rule, and capture everything with GTD (Getting Things Done).

In the finance module, you track income and expenses, set monthly budgets, create savings goals, record debts and recurring payments, and visualize everything in charts.

Productivity Frameworks

Eisenhower Matrix

The Eisenhower Matrix divides your tasks into four quadrants based on urgency and importance:

• Urgent and Important — Do immediately
• Important, not Urgent — Plan and schedule
• Urgent, not Important — Delegate when possible
• Not Urgent and Not Important — Eliminate or defer

1-3-5 Rule

Focus on exactly 1 big task, 3 medium tasks, and 5 small tasks per day. AGENDA enforces this rule automatically, preventing overload.

GTD — Getting Things Done

Capture all your tasks and ideas in a reliable system, process them to determine the next action, organize by context and priority, review regularly, and execute with confidence.

Personal Finances

AGENDA's finance module offers complete control over your financial life:

• Categorized income and expenses
• Monthly budgets with alerts when the limit approaches
• Savings goals with visual progress
• Debt and recurring payment tracking
• Dashboard with line, bar, and pie charts
• Data export and import in CSV and JSON

Where is my data stored?

AGENDA uses Isar Community, a high-performance database that stores all your data locally on the device. No information is transmitted to external servers.

Advantages of local storage

• Total privacy — your data never leaves the device
• Speed — instant access, no network latency
• Control — export or delete your data at any time
• Security — no risk of leakage from external server failures

Disadvantage

• No automatic cloud backup — use CSV/JSON export for manual backups. If you lose your device without a backup, the data is not recoverable.

Notifications

AGENDA uses native Android and iOS notifications for task reminders. Notifications work even with the app in the background or closed, as they are managed directly by the device's operating system.

You can enable or disable notifications in the device settings at any time.

App Lock

AGENDA offers protection with PIN and biometrics (fingerprint, Face ID). The PIN hash is stored in Keychain (iOS) or Encrypted SharedPreferences (Android) via flutter_secure_storage — never in plain text.

AGENDA is completely free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. It is open source and available at github.com/lizzyman04/agenda.
